Swift + Company

After graduating from college, I approached Swift + Company, a Houston-based full-service event production and party rental business, eager to explore various roles within the organization. Initially open to any position, I quickly discovered my strengths in artificial intelligence and process optimization. Recognizing these skills, Swift + Company offered me the opportunity to manage order fulfillment for Fab Fete, a subsidiary renowned for being featured on Oprah Winfrey’s Favorite Things 2021 list.

Leveraging my comprehensive understanding of Amazon’s fulfillment processes, I redesigned the order fulfillment workflow for Fab Fete. This new process reduced fulfillment time from over five minutes per order to just one minute, significantly increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. Additionally, I developed a custom Swift-written iPhone application called Swift + Company Rapid Inventory, which streamlined the logging, photographing, and sorting of products within the warehouse. This application enhanced inventory accuracy and expedited order processing.

Beyond process optimization, I contributed to the company’s marketing efforts by photographing events, providing high-quality images that showcased our services and supported promotional activities. My ability to integrate technology with operational needs not only improved fulfillment and inventory management but also reinforced Swift + Company’s reputation for excellence and innovation in the event planning industry.
